What information do we collect?
In general, you can visit Biohit web site without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Once you choose to provide us personally identifiable information (any information by which you can be identified), such information will only be used to support your relationship with Biohit and its subsidiaries, authorized Biohit distributors and if necessary, with Biohit’s subcontractors.
When you register with Biohit web site we will ask you for contact information (e.g. email address) and your demographic information (such as postcode, industry and job function).
We may ask you to provide information on a voluntary basis in order to get a clearer picture our users. However, for some additional information registration is required. Personal information provided by you
It is our policy to collect only the personal information needed to enable us to handle your requests. We collect personal information including your name, email address, organisation and telephone number when you request information via one of our contact forms. We also collect your personal data when you email BIOHIT with an enquiry or request.

Your personal information is transferred to our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system “Salesforce” which stores your personal information if you request information about, give your business card or contact information, or purchase, or use our products and/or services, and, when you access our online web forms.
If you sign up to our newsletters and marketing communications using our “Sign up form” your personal information will be transferred to our marketing system (“MailChimp”).

How we use you personal information
Since we are constantly endeavoring to achieve a continuous process of improvement in both our product and service offerings and your own experience with our websites, we conduct statistical analyses of the above-mentioned general data. However, we may need to share your information with our subsidiaries, authorized Biohit distributors or with subcontractors in order to provide the information or services that you requested. We will not provide your personal information to any such party unless they commit to respect the confidential nature of your personal information and to use such information only in connection with the collaboration with us. We offer free electronic newsletter to our members, sent to the email you provide during registration. You may remove yourself from this mailing list by replying to a newsletter with “unsubscribe” in the subject box.
We use IP addresses for purposes of system administration, to analyse trends, administer the site and track user’s movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

In most instances we will provide a copy to you free of charge but if your request is deemed as excessive or repetitive you may be charged a reasonable administration fee.
